Ground Coffee
The traditional use of ground coffee for the preparation of coffee has long been the most popular choice. In recent years, however, there has been a gradual decline in coffee makers, which have been replaced by coffee machines that work with capsules, pods or coffee beans.
Ground coffee requires the use of an extraction method such as the Moka coffee maker: putting the ground coffee in the coffee maker and preparing the coffee are gestures that recall the rituality of traditions consolidated over time.

The use of ground coffee means being able to choose the quantity of coffee to use and therefore customize the coffee based on the extraction method.
Differences in coffee grinding
The blends for espresso coffee are ground very finely to facilitate the speed of extraction typical of this preparation system, thus allowing water to capture the maximum aroma in a few seconds.
The medium grind blend is the most suitable for the moka pot.
For American coffee, prepared with the filter coffee makers called plungers, a coarser grind is required, capable of retaining the water for the time necessary for the infusion and the passage of the aroma.
It is the level of grinding of the coffee that determines the extraction speed, therefore the type of coffee that you will drink. If the coffee is ground very coarsely, the coffee will come out quickly, if the grinding is fine, the coffee will come out more slowly.
The use of pre-packaged blends guarantees quality and safety for the various coffee preparations.
