      The family Cutrera is dedicated to the production of extra virgin olive oil from about a century, with all the love and passion that binds this family to his land. In Chiaramonte Gulfi, a small town located in the south-eastern Sicily, the family has always been dedicated to the cultivation of olives and the production of extra virgin olive oil. The first strength of family Cutrera is the geographical location of its olive groves of about 50 hectares. Here the olive trees thrive for thousands of years in their natural habitat. The techniques of cultivation, harvesting and processing of olives that are used have their roots in the history of the island. The second strength is represented by the three extraction lines, all the stages are followed step by step, and this allows to obtain a very high quality oil.  The third strength is the method of storing oil in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and modified atmosphere. The use of nitrogen in the bottle keeps unchanged all the nutritional and organoleptic characteristics of extra virgin oil. The know-how is the last factor that has resulted in many successes and awards both Italian and international.
