Agraria Riva del Garda
Born in 1965, the Agraria Riva del Garda was the first ever to produce Extra Virgin Olive Oil PDO Garda Trentino, one of the first PDO that has been recognized in Italy. Located on the north shore of Lake Garda, thanks to its special geographical location and Mediterranean climate due to the lake stands in the tradition of olive growing in the northernmost in the world. The main varieties of olive grown are: the native Casaliva and Frantoio and Leccino, Pendolino as well as the native Trepp, Raza and Favarol in smaller quantities. The Agraria Riva del Garda del Garda is certified organic in 2009, and now has about 80 members growers. Apart from these, the crusher of Riva del Garda works most of the production of local growers that give the olives to Agriculture in Riva del Garda, the product is not intended for consumption. The result is an extra virgin olive oil with unique characteristics that have allowed him to achieve the highest awards both nationally and internationally.
