The olive groves are located near Bitritto - a small community in western Puglia. The De Carlo oil mill is also located here.

De Carlo is an Italian producer of extra virgin olive oil produced in the Puglia region.

Since 1980, this historic Italian oil mill from Puglia has been in the skillful and passionate hands of Saverio and Grazia De Carlo.

For several years, the De Carlo couple have been supported by their children Marina and Francesco.

They have inherited the love for the olive tree and its products and promote a company policy based on the advantages of a short production chain with an environmentally friendly and sustainable oil production. In this way, producers and consumers can achieve a common goal: the excellent quality of extra virgin olive oil De Carlo.

The De Carlo family firmly believes in the marriage of innovation and tradition and has made it a key factor in their international success. She respects the typical rituals of artisanal and peasant olive oil production, always working with technologically advanced systems.

All products benefit from many years of experience in the various phases of olive processing.

It used to be said that a good extra virgin olive oil can only be produced if it is pressed on the same day. Producer De Carlo has improved this process by grinding the olives within hours of harvest.
