The birth of the Pruneti company began at the end of the nineteenth century with the marketing of family-run products, but it was only with the third generation (with Paolo and Gionni Pruneti) that the Pruneti brothers decided to specialize in the production of extra virgin olive oil. Personally following and controlling all the phases of the extra virgin olive oil production process, the Pruneti brothers began with the restoration of the centuries-old olive groves and with the choice of land and crops for the new olive trees, to then move on to improving the pressing process and the techniques for preserving extra virgin olive oil. This has allowed the Pruneti company to grow strongly both in Italy and abroad to the point of making Pruneti one of the most awarded producers of extra virgin olive oil in the world with international recognition.
