The Santa Téa - Gonnelli 1585 mill is located on the Reggello plateau at 400 m above sea level on the Arno valley, in the heart of Tuscany. In 1585 the family purchased the Santa Téa farm and the adjoining mill built in 1426. Today the company represents one of the Italian excellences in the world of extra virgin olive oil production. The altitude at which the olive groves are located, the perfect exposure to the sun and the very well-drained soil make the Reggello area ideal for growing olives. The Santa Téa mill today represents one of the most advanced realities in the world of extra virgin olive oil, both qualitatively and technologically. Many machines are designed and patented in the mill. The olives used are all certified in their traceability, guaranteeing the consumer maximum transparency. The olives are pressed within 15 hours of their harvest. Extraction exclusively cold, in partial absence of oxygen and under nitrogen.
